School Day: A

Wednesday dismissal schedule

 

Redhawks Shout Out: 

  1. Email shoutouts to Trish for a classmate, teacher, staff member, coach, team, club, etc. Shoutouts are anonymous unless told otherwise.

Secondary  

  1. End of Quarter 3: Tomorrow the 16th.

  2. Lifeguarding Opportunity: 

    1. The Traer Pool NEEDS lifeguards & other staff for this summer 2023. You must be 15 years old and certified in lifeguard training. See Trish for a list of guard certification classes. For all other questions, talk to managers Angie Hallett or Hannah Swanger.

    2. Returning guards: stop in the office and grab an application. 

  3. SOAR Tickets & Store:

    1. SOAR tickets must have first name, last name, and grade! The SOAR Store is open during WIN in Ms. Boerm's room. Make sure you turn your tickets into the SOAR drop boxes (cafeteria, junior high commons, outside secondary office, outside library) so you can make purchases. Come check it out during WIN time! Go to your classroom and get permission to come shop. 

  4. Weight Room Schedule: Weight Room 

Junior High 

  1. StuCo: JH StuCo meets every Tuesday during WIN time to count SOAR dollars.

High School      

  1. Registering to Vote: Are you 17 or older? In Iowa you can register to vote once you are 17. Mr. Walston would love to help you register! All you'd need to know is your driver's license number and/or last 4 digits of your social security number, as well as your address. If you're interested in registering to vote, talk to Mr. Walston or see him in the lunchroom on Thursday. 

  2. Freshman: Matt from Herff-Jones will be here after school today from 2:30-4pm in the lunchroom to place class ring orders. 

  3. Sophomores, Juniors, & Seniors: A Simpson College Rep will be at North Tama this Thurs., Mar. 16th, at 1pm in the secondary office. 

  4. Juniors & Seniors Attending Prom: If you still need to turn in money, RSVPs, or Grand March forms, Ms. Holbach has sent you an email. Please get that filled out ASAP.

  5. Making Up Time Owed: Wednesdays from 2:30-4pm in the JH Commons. 

  6. Seniors: 

    1. The Traer Community Foundation Scholarship is due TODAY. Please turn it into your Google classroom with Ms. Linck.

    2. Awards night: Tues., May 16th, at 7pm. Please plan to be there!

    3. Senior/Baby Pics: Still in need of several seniors! Get those turned in.

    4. After Graduation Plans: Stop into the office and share your after graduation plans with Trish.
