Secondary:  

  1. Art Club: Meet after 8th hour today in main office lobby to head to Cedar Rapids museum for the Night at the Museum Event! Wear your costumes! If you want to join Art Club our upcoming meetings are posted by the art door!
  2. Last night the Girls CC team finished second at the Conference Meet: Jules Breakenridge, Grace Lidgett, Olivia Ketter, Jordan Rigel, Rachel Robinson, and Sabryna Rigel. Placing in the top ten for All Conference for the girls: Jules Breakenridge 2nd, Grace Lidgett 4th, and Olivia Ketter 10th. Placing All Conference for the boys race: Sam Snyder 3rd. Other strong races at the meet: Logan Kennedy, Paden Ketter, and Scott Lewis. Super job Redhawks!!!!!
  3. INKTOBER Prompt: Misfit. Put your finished work into the black box by the art room. 
  4. Gaming Club: Our next meeting is Tues., Oct. 22nd. It will be an open console night so bring any console in and start gaming!
  5. Haunted Cornfield: Visit the Haunted Cornfield west of St. Paul Catholic Church in Traer starting tonight! Hours of operation are: Oct. 18, 19, 25, 26 from 8 - 11 p.m.  It’s $8 a person; children five and under are free when accompanied by a paying adult.

  1. Stomp Out Stigma Group: There is a sign-up sheet in the main office if you’d like to join this group. If you are interested or have any questions, please talk to DaLynn Pokorny. Please sign up by October 25.
  2. Student Council: There’s a meeting today during lunch in Mr. LaRue’s room. Grab your lunch first and head on up.
  3. FCCLA: There will be a meeting Mon., Oct. 21, during lunch in the FCS room.
  4. ACT PREP (note date change): Any High School student who wants to participate in science ACT prep on Monday (10/21) during WIN time should email Mr. Tagtow to sign up. 
  5. Spanish Club Day of the Dead Festival Trip: If you’d like to go, sign up by talking to Mr. Wood by the end of the day TODAY.  We will leave on Sun., Nov. 3rd from the main office door at 10 a.m. and return around 6 p.m. You will need to bring money to eat at a Mexican restaurant. 
  6. STW Students: Please turn in your calendars to Ms. Linck. You may pick up a calendar in her office.
  7. HS Baseball Players: Please bring your uniforms in to Patty C. in 201 as soon as possible.  They need to be checked in after the season.  
  8. Seniors: 
    1. Your Cap/Gown/Diploma form was due to Trish a week ago. Please return this ASAP!
    2. Bring in your acceptance letters from college, military, or trade school.  We are super proud of you and want to share a copy online and post it in the main office!
